This role blends sales and teaching through makeup applications, skincare consultations, digital and in-store selling, vendor event coordination, and customer loyalty building.
Responsibilities
- Perform makeup applications and skincare analyses tailored to customer beauty goals
- Achieve personal and counter sales goals using in-store and digital selling tools
- Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions
- Build and maintain vendor relationships to drive business results
- Handle sales transactions including refunds and exchanges
- Keep the department organized, clean, and customer ready
- Stay current on beauty trends and product knowledge through training
- Use networking and technology to grow and maintain a customer following
- Work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
Requirements
- Passion for beauty, makeup application, and skincare
- Excellent customer connection and ability to handle customer concerns
- Strong multitasking, organization, and follow through skills
- Drive to meet sales goals and comfortable in a commissioned sales environment
- Empathy and respect for customers during services
- Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings and weekends
- Physical ability for continuous movement and lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally
