The Beauty Counter Manager leads sales and customer experience for an assigned luxury beauty brand at the store counter. This role blends retail selling, makeup and skincare application, and counter management to drive sales and build customer loyalty. The manager collaborates with brand vendors and store teams to execute promotions and events while maintaining a welcoming, organized counter environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized makeup applications and skincare consultations to customers.
• Set and achieve individual and counter sales goals using in-store and digital selling tools, including text and social media.
• Manage scheduling, vendor events, product promotions, and on-counter merchandising.
• Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to maximize business results.
• Process sales, refunds, exchanges, and open new customer Nordstrom Rewards accounts.
• Maintain a customer-ready counter through organization, cleanliness, and inventory management.

• Ability to connect with customers, handle concerns empathetically, and foster an inclusive environment.
• Drive to achieve sales in a commissioned sales environment and interest or experience in networked/digital selling.

• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends, and high level of ownership and accountability.
• Physical ability to be on feet for long periods, frequently bend, reach, and lift up to 25 pounds.
