Beauty Counter Manager - Southcenter

Summary

The Beauty Counter Manager leads a brand counter in the Nordstrom Beauty department, delivering personalized makeup and skincare experiences while driving sales. This role balances selling, coaching, and vendor collaboration to maximize counter performance. The manager oversees day-to-day operations to keep the counter customer-ready and supports both in-store and digital selling initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Perform makeup applications and skincare analyses and recommend products to meet customer beauty goals
• Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in-store and digital selling tools, including text and social media
• Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events, promotions, and build strong vendor relationships
• Handle sales transactions, refunds, exchanges, and open Nordstrom Rewards accounts to build customer loyalty
• Maintain counter organization, cleanliness, and presentation to ensure a customer-ready environment

Requirements

• Passion for beauty, trends, makeup application, and skincare with strong customer service skills
• Excellent ability to connect with customers, proactively resolve concerns, and contribute to a positive team environment
• Strong multitasking, organization, follow-through, and a drive to achieve sales goals using networking and technology
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
• Physical capability for continuous movement 6-8 hours per shift and to lift items up to 25 pounds
