The Beauty Counter Manager leads sales and service for an assigned luxury beauty brand, delivering personalized makeup and skincare consultations while driving counter performance and building customer relationships both in-store and digitally. This role balances selling, teaching, and operational tasks to maintain a welcoming and organized beauty counter in a high-traffic department store.
Responsibilities
- Perform makeup applications and skincare analyses and recommend products to meet customer beauty goals
- Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in-store and digital selling tools including text and social media
- Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to support business results
- Handle sales transactions including refunds and exchanges and enroll customers in the rewards program
- Collaborate with team members to create an inclusive and welcoming environment
- Maintain counter organization, cleanliness, and customer readiness
- Stay current on beauty trends and product knowledge through trainings
Requirements
- Passion for beauty, makeup application, skincare, and trends
- Strong customer service skills with ability to connect and handle customer concerns
- Excellent multitasking, organization, and follow-through abilities

- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
