Summary

Provide personalized beauty experiences through makeup application, skincare analysis, and product recommendations for luxury brands. Engage customers both in-store and digitally to build relationships and meet sales goals. Maintain a welcoming, organized department and stay current on beauty trends and product knowledge through training.

Responsibilities

• Perform makeup applications and skincare consultations to address customer beauty goals
• Engage customers to drive sales and build a loyal client following in-store and via digital channels
• Set and achieve individual sales targets and use selling tools including text and social media
• Book appointments and drive sales for in-store beauty events and services
• Manage transactions, returns, exchanges, and open new Nordstrom Rewards accounts
• Keep the department customer-ready through organization, cleanliness, and product presentation

Requirements

• Passion for beauty, makeup application, and skincare with strong customer service skills
• Ability to connect with customers, handle concerns empathetically, and contribute to a positive team environment
• Strong multitasking, organization, and follow-through; drive to achieve sales goals using networking and technology
• Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
• Physical ability to be on your feet continuously for 6-8 hours, frequently bend, reach, and lift up to 25 pounds
