Provide personalized beauty experiences by conducting makeup applications, skincare analyses, and product recommendations to meet customers beauty goals. Drive sales through in-store and digital channels while maintaining a welcoming and organized department and staying current with beauty trends and brand knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Perform makeup applications and skincare consultations tailored to customer needs
- Engage customers to build relationships and drive sales both in-store and digitally
- Book appointments and support in-store beauty events and services
- Use selling tools including text and social media to reach customers
- Process sales, refunds, and exchanges and open rewards accounts to build loyalty
- Maintain department organization and cleanliness to remain customer ready
- Collaborate with team members to create an inclusive customer environment
- Keep up with product knowledge through trainings with Nordstrom and brand partners
Requirements
- Passion for beauty trends, makeup application, and skincare
- Strong customer service skills with ability to connect and handle concerns
- Empathy and respect during makeup and skincare services
- Good multitasking, organization, and follow through abilities
- Drive to achieve sales goals and willingness to use networking and technology
- Availability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- Ability to stand and move continuously for 6 to 8 hours and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 pounds
