Provide personalized beauty experiences through makeup application, skincare analysis and product recommendations while driving sales for luxury beauty brands in a department store environment. Responsibilities
- Conduct makeup applications and perform skincare analyses to recommend products
- Engage customers to understand their beauty goals and build customer following in-store and digitally
- Set and achieve sales goals using selling tools including text and social media
- Book appointments and drive sales for in-store beauty events and services
- Manage sales transactions, refunds and exchanges
- Open customer reward accounts to build loyalty
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a welcoming and inclusive environment
- Keep the department customer-ready through organization and cleanliness
- Participate in trainings to stay current on trends and product knowledge
Requirements
- Passion for beauty including makeup application and skincare
- Strong customer service and ability to connect with customers
- Empathy and respect when providing makeup and skincare services
- Good multitasking, organization and follow-through skills
- Drive to achieve sales goals and interest in networking and technology
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- Willingness to participate in trainings provided by employer and brand partners
- Ability to manage sales transactions and customer loyalty enrollment
