Summary
Provide personalized luxury beauty consultations and sales within the Nordstrom Beauty department representing on-trend brands. Engage customers through makeup applications, skincare analysis, and digital and in-store selling to drive loyalty and meet sales goals. Maintain a welcoming, organized department and stay current on product and industry knowledge through training.
Responsibilities
- Perform makeup applications and skincare consultations tailored to customer goals
- Recommend and sell beauty products in-store and via digital channels including text and social media
- Book appointments and support beauty events and services to drive sales
- Meet individual and department sales targets and use selling tools effectively
- Handle sales transactions including refunds and exchanges and assist customers with Nordstrom Rewards enrollment
- Collaborate with team members to create an inclusive customer environment
- Maintain department organization, cleanliness, and customer readiness
- Participate in brand and company training to keep up with beauty trends and products
Requirements
- Passion for beauty trends, makeup application, and skincare
- Strong customer service skills with ability to connect and handle customer concerns
- Empathy and respect when providing makeup and skincare services
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and follow through on tasks
- Drive to achieve sales goals and willingness to use networking and technology
- Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
- Physical ability to stand and move for prolonged periods and lift up to 25 pounds
