Summary

Provide personalized makeup and skincare consultations and sell luxury beauty products on the sales floor and through digital channels. Deliver makeup applications, skincare analyses, and build customer relationships to meet sales goals and drive loyalty. Maintain product knowledge and collaborate with the team to create an inclusive, customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct makeup applications, skincare analyses, and recommend products based on customer beauty goals
• Engage customers to build a following and drive in-store and digital sales using text and social media
• Book appointments and support beauty events and services
• Manage sales transactions, refunds, exchanges, and rewards program enrollment
• Maintain department organization, cleanliness, and product presentation
• Participate in brand and Nordstrom training to stay current on trends and product knowledge

Requirements

• Passion for beauty, makeup application, and skincare with strong customer service skills
• Ability to connect with customers empathetically and proactively handle concerns
• Strong multitasking, organization, and follow-through with a sales-driven mindset
• Comfort using technology and social media for digital selling
• Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
• Ability to stand and move continuously for 6-8 hours and routinely lift up to 10 pounds, occasionally up to 25 pounds
