Summary
Provide personalized luxury beauty experiences through makeup applications, skincare consultations, and product recommendations while driving in-store and digital sales. Collaborate with the Beauty team to create an inclusive welcoming environment and support department readiness and events at the Washington Square location.
Responsibilities
- Perform makeup applications and skincare analyses tailored to customer goals
- Recommend and sell on-trend and luxury beauty products
- Drive sales through in-store interactions and digital selling using text and social media
- Book appointments and support beauty events and services
- Handle sales transactions, refunds, and exchanges
- Enroll customers in the rewards program to build loyalty
- Maintain department organization, cleanliness, and customer-ready displays
- Stay current on product knowledge and beauty trends through training
- Work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
Requirements
- Passion for beauty trends, makeup application, and skincare
- Strong customer service and ability to connect with diverse customers
- Excellent multitasking, organization, and follow-through skills
- Drive to meet and exceed sales goals and use networking technology
- Empathy and respectful approach during services
- Ability to perform continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift
- Frequent use of hands for fine manipulation and lifting up to 25 pounds
- Flexible availability to work evenings and weekends
