Provide personalized beauty experiences focused on women's fragrances by engaging customers, performing makeup and skincare consultations, and driving in-store and digital sales while maintaining department standards and product knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Conduct makeup applications and skincare analyses and recommend products aligned with customer goals
- Engage customers to build relationships and drive sales in-store and digitally using text and social media
- Book appointments and support in-store beauty events and services
- Set and achieve sales goals and participate in performance based incentive programs
- Manage sales transactions including refunds and exchanges and enroll customers in rewards program
- Maintain department organization, cleanliness, and customer ready presentation
- Stay current on beauty trends and product knowledge through trainings with Nordstrom and brand partners
- Collaborate with team members to create an inclusive and welcoming environment
Requirements
- Passion for beauty, trends, makeup application, and skincare
- Strong customer service skills with ability to connect and handle customer concerns
- Excellent multitasking, organization, and follow through
- Drive to achieve sales targets and use networking and technology for selling
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- Capable of continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift with frequent bending and reaching
- Ability to regularly lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
