Summary

The Beauty Stylist drives beauty sales across brands through demonstration and artistry while delivering tailored one-on-one customer service. This commissioned sales role leverages in-store and digital tools to meet sales goals and build lasting client relationships. The Stylist also partners with vendors and creates in-store events to grow business.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals for both in-store and digital channels using selling tools, text, and social media
• Conduct service consultations and demonstrations to recommend products tailored to customer needs
• Build and maintain client relationships through follow-up, product suggestions, and appointment-based selling
• Create and host events in the store and network within the community to drive business
• Open new Nordstrom Rewards accounts and use technology to support sales
• Maintain strong vendor relationships to identify product priorities

Requirements

• 1+ years of beauty industry experience
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department needs
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and strong organization
• High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative with strong follow-through
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Physical ability to be in continuous movement for 6-8 hours, frequently bend, reach, and lift up to 25 pounds
