Boutique Director

Summary

The Boutique Director is the ultimate leader and brand ambassador of the Beverly Hills boutique, responsible for building and developing an exceptional team, delivering an elevated client experience, and exceeding defined performance targets. This role leads boutique leadership, fosters a culture of feedback and inclusion, and partners with the Home Office to drive strategic business results. The Director also represents CHANEL in the market through community engagement and partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Coach and inspire boutique staff to deliver elevated client service and a consistent client experience.
• Foster a positive working environment that encourages diversity, feedback, mutual respect, and teamwork.
• Act as a leader of leaders by developing boutique management and empowering teams to manage their direct reports and responsibilities.
• Develop and achieve business goals by partnering with the boutique team and Home Office to implement creative, strategic solutions and improve based on KPIs.
• Represent CHANEL in the local market, growing the client base through community involvement, partnerships, and events.
• Ensure boutique image and operational standards are upheld to drive business results.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of related experience in boutique or luxury retail management.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Proven people leadership, coaching, and strong communication skills.
• Ability to lift 15 lbs and maintain a flexible schedule including late nights, weekends, and some holidays.
• In-store presence required to manage boutique operations, standards, and client service delivery.
• Passion for the brand and client experience; foreign language skills preferred.
