Boutique Manager

Summary

The Boutique Manager assists in managing boutique operations with a primary focus on delivering exceptional client service, supporting the management team, and fostering a professional and collaborative environment. The role includes coaching staff, driving sales through clienteling and new client acquisition, and maintaining boutique standards.

Responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed sales goals through clienteling and sourcing new clients
• Evaluate team performance and provide coaching and development plans
• Monitor market competition, watch trends, and client shopping behaviors
• Forecast, plan and manage budgets including payroll and staffing
• Manage daily operational tasks according to boutique standards
• Assist with recruitment and retention efforts
• Support the Boutique Director and serve as a leader within the building
• Develop and cascade product knowledge to the team
• Foster a luxury client experience and collaborative environment

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of retail service experience, preferably in luxury retail
• Current knowledge of watch trends and marketplace competition
• High school diploma or equivalent; college preferred or equivalent experience
• Proficiency with MS Office and retail systems for labor, inventory and sales reporting
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
