Summary
The Boutique Manager assists in managing boutique operations with a primary focus on delivering excellent client service, cultivating a professional environment for staff, setting performance standards, and supporting the management team to drive business results.
Responsibilities
- Achieve and exceed sales goals through clienteling and sourcing new clients
- Evaluate team performance and provide coaching and action plans for development
- Monitor market competition and watch trends to inform selling strategies
- Forecast, plan and manage business needs including payroll and staffing
- Manage daily operational tasks according to company standards
- Assist with recruitment and retention efforts
- Support the Boutique Director and serve as a leader within the building
- Develop and cascade product knowledge and training to the team
- Foster a luxury client experience through renowned and authentic service
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of retail service experience, preferably in luxury retail
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Knowledge of watch trends and marketplace competition
- Proficiency with MS Office and retail systems such as inventory and sales reporting
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to coach and develop team members
