Boutique Operations Associate - Short Hills

Summary

The Boutique Operations Associate supports daily boutique operations and ensures exceptional client experiences by upholding operational standards and best practices. This role is the expert on standard operating procedures, systems, and tools, providing support across receiving, inventory, and store processes. Requires in-store presence and close collaboration with boutique leadership to maintain inventory accuracy and brand presentation.

Responsibilities

• Uphold operational standards and act as a resource on SOPs, systems, and tools.
• Support opening and closing procedures, register operations, and daily store workflows.
• Receive, process, and record incoming stock; maintain organized and controlled stock storage.
• Manage inventory processes and support stock cycle counts and annual physical inventory.
• Communicate inventory and supply needs to boutique leadership and assist with omni-channel client service.
• Co-own brand image, hygiene standards, and visual merchandising requirements.

Requirements

• 3+ years of related retail or operations experience.
• Excellent communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
• Ability to move items up to 25 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Flexible schedule with availability for late nights, weekends, and some holidays.
• Experience in fragrance and beauty and foreign language skills preferred.
