Summary
Support sales and profitability for the DTC North America product line by contributing to assortment development, sales analysis, and buy process operations. Manage operational functions across the product lifecycle and assist Buyers with assortment and marketplace insights. Work collaboratively in a hybrid corporate environment to support merchandising and planning activities.
Responsibilities
- Attend and participate in buying and business related meetings
- Shop parent line and competitive marketplace and present findings
- Perform style and color analysis and present recommendations to Buyer
- Prepare and maintain assortment planning tools such as paginations and boards
- Maintain and manage purchase orders and troubleshoot related issues
- Manage on order tracking reports and lead on order meetings with weekly recaps
- Create and maintain weekly business review and selling reports
- Organize and track samples by season classification and delivery
- Enter weekly price changes and prepare re-ticketing task forms
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- 1 years of experience in buying or merchandising (1-2 years preferred)
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail and organization skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and demonstrate leadership potential
- General understanding of customer, marketplace and product
- Basic understanding of product lifecycle and retail math
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Word and PowerPoint and retail systems
