Job Description

Summary

Support product management for the collection by partnering with design, merchandising, technical design, sourcing offices, factories and mills to ensure product integrity from sample to bulk production. Maintain product data in PLM, manage master BOMs and support timelines to achieve production readiness and optimized lead-times.

Responsibilities

  • Create and own the Master BOM for low touch designs and generate initial BOMs from Tech Packs.
  • Update BOMs for showroom samples through stock approval and production readiness.
  • Submit tech pack dates in PLM and report related metrics.
  • Develop and track sourced raw materials and components including fabric, trims, labels and hangtags.
  • Track development and receipt of showroom samples and maintain accurate sample and delivery information.
  • Input, update and finalize product details and costing in PLM.
  • Partner with managers and sourcing to drive optimized lead-times and ensure production delivery deadlines are met.
  • Collaborate with technical designers and senior team to analyze product development WIP reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Product development or related experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of garment manufacturing process and apparel product development in assigned category.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to product information and detail.
  • Proficiency with Excel, Outlook and PLM systems.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Agile, solution oriented mindset with curiosity and desire to learn.
