Summary

The Cosmetics Counter Manager leads daily operations of the cosmetics counter, driving sales and ensuring exceptional client service. This role manages staff scheduling, product presentation, and inventory at a retail cosmetics counter in a department store or mall location. The manager partners with brand representatives to execute promotions and maintain brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily counter operations and ensure visual merchandising aligns with brand guidelines
• Drive sales and meet individual and counter performance goals
• Coach and develop counter team members to deliver exceptional client experiences
• Oversee inventory control, replenishment, and loss prevention
• Schedule staff and manage timekeeping to meet coverage needs
• Maintain relations with brand representatives and execute promotional events
• Ensure product knowledge and training across the team

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of retail or beauty management experience
• Strong sales and coaching skills with a focus on client service
• Knowledge of cosmetics products and retail merchandising
• Ability to work flexible retail hours including weekends
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Experience managing inventory and conducting loss prevention
