Summary

The Cushion Filler inserts foam cushions into sewn fabric or leather casings using a machine or by hand to meet product and quality specifications. This hands on manufacturing role supports production needs and may perform other duties across the manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities

• Use cushion fill machine to insert foam into sewn casings
• Fill cushions by hand when foam size prevents machine use
• Read and follow production tickets and work instructions
• Perform other production duties as required throughout the manufacturing area
• Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality
• Multitask with minimal supervision to meet production goals
• Follow quality standards to ensure finished product specifications

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months prior experience in a similar role
• Able to read and understand production tickets
• Adequate communication skills to interact with team members
• Detail oriented with the ability to multitask and work independently
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, and use hands for manual tasks
• Capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling or gripping up to 100 lbs
