Department Manager - 57th St Flagship

The Department Manager will be responsible for leading and mentoring their team, building client relationships, and proactively driving the achievement of sales targets while ensuring clients experience the best-in-class Fendi Client Journey. They will be an ambassador of the brand in the community and marketplace.

• Ensure Client Advisors deliver the Fendi Client Journey to every individual and support them with consistent mentoring.
• Set individual and team goals, and sales targets; proactively assess and handle performance against expectations.
• Identify, recruit talent and secure succession plans in collaboration with the Store Manager.
• Drive sales within category and across the store and support the team in building long-term client relationships.
• Act as a role model demonstrating sales and clienteling leadership to the team.
• Ensure policies, standards, and Fendi procedures are communicated and implemented.
• Ensure there is a business strategy behind visual merchandising moves and participate in floor rotations with the VM team.

• Minimum 5 years’ related experience, luxury retail preferred.
• Strong drive for results; goal-oriented.
• Excellent communication skills: the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to use POS system and its inventory management functions.
• RTW experience preferred.
• Foreign language skills are a plus.
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
• Must have flexible availability, including some nights, weekends, and holidays.
