Summary
Ten-week compensated corporate internship supporting fabric research and development across seasonal concept and material processes. Intern will gain hands-on experience with textile categories, contribute to concept development, and collaborate with global sourcing and R&D partners while working on-site in Manhattan and Katonah with hybrid arrangements.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to seasonal concept development through textile research and innovation
- Support creation of fabric presentations aligned with seasonal design direction
- Assist in developing seasonal color palettes mood boards and pattern concepts
- Communicate with external suppliers to initiate track and execute development projects
- Maintain and organize the fabric archive for current and historical collections
- Research origins and stories of fabrics to support design storytelling
- Collaborate with global R&D teams to support textile and wash developments
- Provide organizational and logistical support for team presentations and internal reviews
Requirements
- Must be a full-time U.S. college student entering final semester or year with graduation Dec 2026 or May 2027
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to commute to Manhattan and Katonah New York and reside within commutable distance
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel PowerPoint Word and Outlook
- Strong writing math and communication skills with attention to detail
- Highly organized able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Curious creative collaborative self-starter with a growth mindset
