Ten-week paid corporate internship supporting the Lauren brand woven, knits and sweaters design teams. The role involves hands-on learning through research, CAD work, attending fittings and design meetings, and contributing to presentations and showroom prep in a hybrid workplace arrangement.
Responsibilities
- Pull market research and trend information from websites and sources
- Create and fill CAD designs and sketches in Adobe Illustrator
- Shadow designers in hand-off processes and sketching style development
- Support development of beading, embroidery, and sweater layouts with design team
- Prepare presentation materials and mini stats for collection boards
- Attend and observe fittings across Lauren product categories
- Assist with mannequin dressing and seasonal showroom preparation
- Learn and use Apex 3D and Lotta software to create sweater graphs and 3D renderings
Requirements
- Attend college full-time and be entering final semester or year with graduation Dec 2026 or May 2027
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Able to work in-person or hybrid and reside commutable to NY, NJ, or NC offices
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
- Completion of 2 years in a fashion design program
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel PowerPoint and Outlook
- Highly organized team player able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
