Responsibilities
- Set and achieve sales goals for in-store and digital selling using selling tools and reservations
- Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers and grow Nordstrom Rewards accounts
- Provide expert style and fit advice and educate customers on brand and product value
- Conduct appointment-based selling during events and non-event times
- Collaborate with peers to lead product knowledge meetings and share brand trends
- Perform merchandising tasks including stocking, re-merchandising, displays, price markdowns and transfers
- Provide product feedback to the department manager to improve assortment
- Remain flexible to assist in other departments as business needs require
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with customers
- Ability to excel in a competitive team environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Flexible availability to work schedules based on business needs
- Ability to read and use sales reporting in relation to goals
- Strong product and brand knowledge with ability to educate customers on new brands
- Confidence selling across varied price points and demonstrating outfit value
- Organizational skills to strategically follow up and advise customers on wardrobe needs
- Physical ability to be active 6-8 hours per shift and lift items up to 25 pounds
