The Designated Selling Associate sells handbags through one-on-one customer interactions, driving volume and championing the brand at the NYC flagship. The role focuses on customer service, product knowledge, appointment-based and digital selling, and merchandising to meet sales goals.
Responsibilities
- Set and achieve sales goals for in-store and digital channels using selling tools including text and social media
- Cultivate and maintain lasting relationships with customers and grow accounts
- Provide styling advice and product education to customers and peers
- Conduct appointment-based selling during events and non-event periods
- Assist with stocking, re-merchandising, displays, price markdowns, and merchandise transfers
- Provide product feedback to management to inform assortment
- Collaborate with DSAs, stylists, and surrounding departments on product knowledge meetings
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build customer rapport
- Ability to work in a competitive team environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Flexible availability to meet varying business needs and schedules
- Capacity to read and use sales reporting in relation to goals
- Strong product and fashion knowledge with confidence selling across price points
