Summary
The Designated Selling Associate delivers personalized in-store and digital sales for a specific brand, cultivating lasting customer relationships and driving revenue. This role emphasizes product knowledge, styling and appointment-based selling while supporting merchandising and department operations. Responsibilities
- Set and achieve sales goals through in-store and digital selling, including appointment-based sales and reservations.
- Build and maintain customer relationships through personalized service and follow-up.
- Use selling tools such as text and social media to engage customers and drive business.
- Provide product education and brand training to customers and peers; conduct DSA-run product knowledge meetings.
- Merchandise and maintain the department: stocking, re-merchandising, displays, price markdowns, transfers and cleaning.
- Provide product feedback to the department manager and grow rewards program accounts.
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to cultivate customer relationships and work in a competitive team environment.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, read sales reporting in relation to goals, and work a flexible schedule based on business needs.
- Confidence working with a range of price points and advising customers on styling and wardrobe completion.
- Physical ability to stand and move continuously for 6-8 hours, including frequent bending, reaching and lifting; regularly lift items up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.
