The Designated Selling Associate represents a designated fashion brand and drives sales through personalized service, product expertise, and customer relationships. The role supports in-store and digital selling while helping maintain a customer-ready department.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals through in-store and digital selling, appointments, and effective use of selling tools.
• Build customer relationships and provide confident guidance on style, fit, and product value.
• Share brand trends and product knowledge with peers, Stylists, and other departments.
• Support merchandising, stocking, displays, markdowns, merchandise transfers, and department cleanliness.
• Grow sales by opening Nordstrom Rewards accounts and providing product feedback to management.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build customer rapport.
• Ability to thrive in a competitive team environment, prioritize tasks, and work a flexible schedule.
• Ability to understand sales reporting, educate customers on brands, and recommend products suited to their needs.
• Ability to remain active for extended shifts, handle merchandise, and regularly lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.
