Summary
The Designer, CVM - Windows is a luxury-oriented designer responsible for conceptualizing, rendering, and delivering window displays and special projects for Tiffany stores worldwide. This role translates creative vision into technical execution, partnering with production teams to ensure top-tier craftsmanship and maintain design integrity. The designer prepares presentations for leadership, contributes design directives to regional teams, and manages projects on both long-term and fast-turnaround schedules.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and generate luxury-oriented window and in-store special designs through research, sketches, 3D renderings, and visual studies.
- Translate design ideas into refined visual storytelling using color studies, quick sketches, and 3D models.
- Prepare and present design intent and prototypes for leadership approval and weekly presentations.
- Partner with CVM Production to oversee material fabrication, prototyping, and revisions to ensure craftsmanship and design integrity.
- Develop technical documentation, drawings, and clear design intent deliverables to guide production teams and timelines.
- Collaborate cross-functionally and provide design guidance to regional CVM teams while managing stakeholder communications.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Interior Design, Set Design, or related field.
- 2 years of professional design or related experience (2 or 3 years preferred).
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Advanced 3D CAD skills (Rhinoceros 3D, Keyshot, or similar) and 3D modeling capability.
- Understanding of production processes, ability to read basic floor plans, elevations, and construction drawings.
- Excellent conceptual, spatial, storytelling, organizational, and presentation skills with strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Preferred: experience in luxury fashion or jewelry retail.
