Job Description

Summary

The Director Product Marketing leads strategy and execution for a major jewelry product category, setting multi year roadmaps and defining product vision to drive revenue growth and brand equity. This role manages a team of product leads managers and specialists, collaborates cross functionally on new product development pricing and 360 marketing activation, and oversees portfolio performance and budgeting.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and articulate product category vision strategy and multi year roadmap aligned with business goals
  • Identify market opportunities assess competitive threats and set pricing strategies
  • Manage the full product portfolio including new product development and launches
  • Define 360 briefs for launches including training content sales targets and visual merchandising guidance
  • Collaborate with communications and marketing teams to craft product storytelling and campaigns
  • Establish and monitor KPIs for portfolio performance and recommend optimizations
  • Advise supply chain on sourcing for the category
  • Lead manage and develop product leads managers and specialists including hiring and performance management
  • Manage team budget and collaborate on yearly marketing budget planning

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing business administration or related field MBA preferred
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in product marketing or marketing preferably in luxury goods or jewelry
  • Strong understanding of jewelry design materials and manufacturing processes
  • Excellent analytical problem solving and decision making skills
  • Exceptional communication presentation and interpersonal skills with ability to influence senior leaders
  • Proven leadership team management and coaching experience including hiring and performance management
  • Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and forecasting sales
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint
