Summary
The Director Product Marketing leads strategy and execution for a major jewelry product category, setting multi year roadmaps and defining product vision to drive revenue growth and brand equity. This role manages a team of product leads managers and specialists, collaborates cross functionally on new product development pricing and 360 marketing activation, and oversees portfolio performance and budgeting.
Responsibilities
- Develop and articulate product category vision strategy and multi year roadmap aligned with business goals
- Identify market opportunities assess competitive threats and set pricing strategies
- Manage the full product portfolio including new product development and launches
- Define 360 briefs for launches including training content sales targets and visual merchandising guidance
- Collaborate with communications and marketing teams to craft product storytelling and campaigns
- Establish and monitor KPIs for portfolio performance and recommend optimizations
- Advise supply chain on sourcing for the category
- Lead manage and develop product leads managers and specialists including hiring and performance management
- Manage team budget and collaborate on yearly marketing budget planning
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in marketing business administration or related field MBA preferred
- 10+ years of progressive experience in product marketing or marketing preferably in luxury goods or jewelry
- Strong understanding of jewelry design materials and manufacturing processes
- Excellent analytical problem solving and decision making skills
- Exceptional communication presentation and interpersonal skills with ability to influence senior leaders
- Proven leadership team management and coaching experience including hiring and performance management
- Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and forecasting sales
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint
