Summary
The Director of Retail Financial Planning leads financial modeling, forecasting, reporting, and analytics, with direct oversight of Outlet financial planning. This role delivers data-driven insights and supports financial decision-making through rigorous analysis and effective financial systems.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end forecasting processes, including ROF, flash, and variance reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain forecasting models for sales, margin, and inventory, and analyze performance trends and key business drivers.
- Develop and distribute datasets, reports, and insights to support leadership decisions and operational actions.
- Lead Outlet financial planning, including store performance, openings and closures, and footprint optimization.
- Model the financial impact of operational changes and investigate variances in partnership with accounting and operations.
- Manage financial systems, reporting processes, submissions, and executive forecast commentary.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
- At least 5 years of related experience.
- Strong analytical, systems, and reporting infrastructure skills, including SQL knowledge.
- Experience with data manipulation and developing dynamic financial models.
- Strong communication, leadership, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions and organizational levels.
- Ability to think creatively, strategically, and technically.
