Director, Risk & Compliance

Summary

The Director of Risk and Compliance leads compliance strategy and risk management across North America. This role strengthens internal controls, prevents fraud, and leads transformation projects while supporting sustainability measurement and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic compliance transformation projects, tracking scope, timelines, risks, and deliverables.
• Identify financial and operational risks, develop mitigation strategies, and oversee fraud assessments and monitoring.
• Review internal control reports, coordinate remediation, align regional frameworks, and deliver training.
• Govern localized policies and ensure alignment with group standards.
• Develop CO2 measurement methods and tools, and provide financial analysis for sustainability initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in FP&A, audit, or compliance.
• Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Power BI, or Looker, internal control frameworks, and risk management.
• Project management experience and strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• CIA, CPA, or equivalent certification preferred; luxury retail experience is a plus.
