Job Description

Summary

Lead the expanded Merchandising function with responsibility for commercial planning, forecasting and product commercialization to drive sales performance and reinforce the Maison image. Partner cross-functionally with Product Marketing, Supply Chain, Commercial, Visual Merchandising, Store Design and Digital to translate product strategy into actionable plans and support Zones in execution. Build a high-performing team and lead change management to maximize adoption of new processes and tools.

Responsibilities

  • Define commercial targets and strategic priorities per channel and monitor performance
  • Co-create sales forecasts and influence sales ambition for new launches with Product Marketing and Demand Planning
  • Translate global product plans into locally viable merchandising initiatives and ensure proper framing of launches
  • Partner with Zones to drive performance through action plans and adoption of tools
  • Influence in-store and online space strategy and support new concept store projects and design
  • Build and present performance reviews and dashboards to stakeholders and senior leadership
  • Lead transversal reporting and commercial targets monitoring
  • Ensure synergies across Merchandising, Product Marketing, Supply Chain and Zones and manage change adoption
  • Develop and lead a worldwide merchandising community and a results-driven team

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field; MBA preferred
  • 10+ years of luxury retail merchandising or strategy development experience with store or zone experience preferred
  • Proven leadership and ability to build relationships across functions
  • Strong presentation, content development and negotiation skills
  • Keen analytical and strategic thinking with strong financial acumen
  • Ability to manage shifting priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Self-motivated with strong drive for achievement
  • Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and PowerPoint
