You will ensure high-quality data governance, support seamless data migration, and align master data strategies with business transformation objectives.
Responsibilities- Lead product and material master data management efforts within the ERP transformation program.
- Provide expertise in SAP Fashion/Retail article master data structures, governance, and optimization.
- Define and enforce data standards, policies, and best practices for product master data across all business units.
- Ensure alignment of product data models with business processes and ERP system architecture.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and ERP vendors to drive accurate and consistent master data solutions.
- Support data migration initiatives, ensuring seamless data transfer and transformation from legacy systems to SAP S4 Fashion.
- Work with Syniti or equivalent data migration tools to ensure efficient and accurate data migration.
- Oversee data cleansing, validation, and enrichment to improve overall data quality and integrity.
- Serve as the primary liaison for master data-related decisions in the Design Authority, ensuring consistency across functional teams.
- Develop and implement strategies for ongoing data maintenance, governance, and lifecycle management post-implementation.
- Work with upstream IT systems partners to design and build scalable integration to bring required product master data into ERP.
Requirements- Many years of experience in SAP product/material master data management.
- Experience in SAP Fashion/Retail working with article master.
- Leadership experience, managing master data teams and initiatives.
- Hands-on experience with SAP S4 Fashion/Retail, including expertise in product master data structures, attributes, and hierarchies.
- Strong background in data migration methodologies, with experience in Syniti preferred.
- Knowledge of SAP data governance frameworks, tools, and best practices.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally with business, IT, and external partners.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical data concepts into business-friendly language.
- Experience working in a global organization with multi-region ERP deployments.
- Willingness to travel as required to support the global implementation.
