Engineer 1 - Full-Stack

Summary

Engineer 1 Full-Stack on the Store Experience Technology team contributes to design, build, and maintain technology products that create customer experiences across stores, web, and apps. This individual works on an agile team under direct supervision, follows secure coding practices, and participates in testing and code collaboration. The role is offered as hybrid in Seattle with an in-office expectation of at least four days per week.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to code and design for full-stack systems.
• Collaborate with local and distributed team members using version control tools.
• Create and maintain unit and integration tests.
• Apply secure coding practices and system fundamentals.
• Measure and understand scope of local work and deliverables.
• Participate in agile processes and frequent shipping of incremental value.
• Work with cloud technologies and RESTful microservice architectures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with object oriented languages such as Java, Python, Go, NodeJs, Javascript or Typescript.
• Experience or familiarity with RESTful architecture and microservices.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
• Ability to write unit and integration tests and follow quality standards.
• Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to collaborate.
• Professional experience in engineering or related field preferred; recent graduates may be considered.
