Summary
The Events and VIC Specialist leads VIC and client development strategy across the Americas, driving VIC recruitment, retention, reactivation, and overseeing in-store activations, out-of-store experiences, and client gifting. This role partners with Head of Client Engagement and market leaders to define activation and gifting targets, manage budgets, and align global initiatives with local markets. The position requires coordination with stores, vendors, and cross-functional teams and involves international travel for fashion shows and events.
Responsibilities
- Lead VIC and client development strategy to grow client portfolios and drive repeat engagement
- Plan and execute all in-store activations and out-of-store experiences including launches and previews
- Manage client gifting campaigns lifecycle including logistics, distribution, and tracking
- Oversee events and gifting budgets, vendor invoices, and performance tracking
- Collaborate with market leaders and stores to implement local strategies and ensure alignment
- Source and manage vendors and external partners in local markets
- Coordinate VIC preorders, retail remote orders, and made-to-measure requests
- Monitor VIC KPIs including retention and upgrade to inform outreach and engagement
- Support VIC VIP and couture activities such as galas and private dinners
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience in events in luxury retail fashion industry
- Proven experience owning large scale projects from ideation through execution
- Prior client or VIP facing experience with strong communication and influence skills
- Advanced skills in Excel and Power Point and excellent project management abilities
- Flexibility to travel and work ad-hoc hours including evenings weekends and holidays
- Highly organized attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
- Resourceful problem solver and team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Experience handling confidential information and maintaining discretion
- Adaptability and ability to work in a fast paced often changing environment
