Responsibilities- Identify and expedite orders in the lab work-in-progress through various reporting tools.
- Communicate effectively with lab management to understand and address lab issues.
- Develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with customers, co-workers, management, and sales.
- Advise customers or seek assistance on problem jobs as needed.
- Make necessary job changes to ensure orders are processed efficiently.
- Handle additional delegated duties as assigned by the manager.
- Review and act on delayed orders in the ticket queue.
- Monitor delayed job workflow at outsource/offsite areas.
- Communicate breakage to Customer Service through the ticket/case process.
- Investigate complaints using the "Complaint Management" tool and follow up with accounts.
- Maintain an organized and clean working area.
Requirements- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ years of related work experience, preferably in a manufacturing lab setting.
- Ability to meet measurable standards in a dynamic production environment.
- Good judgment and decision-making skills.
- Problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with optical and Opti-facts systems.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
