Facilities Director

Summary

Oversee maintenance, repairs, safety, and operational efficiency for retail and corporate locations, ensuring facilities meet brand standards through project management, vendor relationships, and budget oversight. Manage preventative maintenance, refits, and emergency responses while collaborating with store design and operations for openings and remodels. Require hands-on, solution-driven approach with proficiency in CMMS and strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with government regulations and health and safety standards
• Oversee building projects, renovations, and facility repairs including mechanical electrical and plumbing
• Manage emergency responses and timely resolution of issues
• Supervise vendor contracts for cleaning security waste management HVAC and specialized services
• Procure providers for preventative maintenance and onboard vendors for Service Channel and local projects
• Manage budgets approve and process invoices through Service Channel and purchase order system
• Collaborate with Store Design Construction and Retail Operations for new store openings remodels and closures
• Conduct regular site inspections to assess maintenance needs and uphold brand and safety standards

Requirements

• 3 or more years of experience preferably within the retail industry
• 4-year college degree preferably with an engineering emphasis
• Strong knowledge of building systems including HVAC electrical and plumbing
• Excellent project management negotiation and vendor management skills
• Proficiency in CMMS and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent written and verbal communication and strong analytical problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects prioritize needs and work a flexible schedule
• Ability to move or lift items over 20 pounds
