Facilities Manager

Summary

The Facilities Manager oversees repairs, maintenance, facility operations and architectural preservation for stores in the North American market. The role coordinates with store management, regional teams and vendors to develop sustainable solutions, schedule and manage maintenance projects including millwork, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and other systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage ordinary and extraordinary repairs and maintenance for retail stores
• Build and maintain relationships with Store Directors and Operations Managers
• Coordinate small layout improvements and special project installations
• Identify facility problems and implement solutions with vendors and store teams
• Coordinate repairs through Service Channel and train users
• Review and negotiate cost proposals and issue purchase orders
• Develop and maintain maintenance cost summaries for OPEX and CAPEX
• Create and maintain database of floor plans, specs, materials and preferred vendors
• Serve as point of contact for office improvements and nationwide roll outs

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years experience in high-end retail projects
• Excellent communication skills
• Proactive attitude and strong problem solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
• Interest in luxury and fashion industry and market trends
• Willingness to travel up to 20 to 30 percent
• Knowledge of Italian is a plus
