Summary
Facilities Manager responsible for executing maintenance and repairs across the North America retail network, supporting freestanding boutiques and department store concessions, reporting to Store Planning leadership and based in the New York City corporate office.
Responsibilities
- Manage maintenance and repair execution for retail stores and concessions across North America
- Oversee punch lists for new store openings and support retrofits, renovations, and wholesale conversions
- Create and maintain facility plans, balancing scheduled maintenance and responsive repairs
- Source, contract and manage external facility service providers and ensure contractual compliance
- Coordinate ordering of equipment and parts and collaborate with IT for ticket resolution
- Track and maintain records for floor plans, specs, materials, projects and preferred vendors
- Review on-site installations and verify correct implementation of repairs and layout improvements
- Manage store portfolio facility cost budget and develop cost effective maintenance improvements
- Collaborate with retail operations and store planning to support project management for openings and renovations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in construction administration or equivalent experience preferred
- Minimum 3 years experience in a retail facilities role
- Advanced knowledge of MS Word Excel PowerPoint and Service Channel or similar ticket platform
- Experience with luxury retail construction standards millwork and managing HVAC construction and maintenance vendors
- Experience managing luxury and specialty retail and wholesale projects
- Highly organized detail oriented proactive and able to shift between design and management
- Strong decision making problem solving and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to travel 40-50% domestically and internationally often on short notice
- Fluent English French is a plus
