Responsibilities- Process month-end accruals and reclassifications for operating expenses.
- Update monthly financial reporting package for budget holders, including variance analysis.
- Provide guidance to budget holders and collaborate to control costs.
- Review and approve invoices ensuring proper coding and assignment.
- Prepare data for internal and external auditors.
- Develop projection models for retail expenses and related accounts.
- Monitor performances and spending trends against projections.
- Serve as a financial liaison to retail network and other departments.
- Maintain projection models for budgeting purposes.
- Participate in budget/forecast processes for store expenses.
- Provide analytical support to store expenses cost centers.
- Analyze financial information and provide recommendations to management.
- Assist in developing or improving internal controls and procedures.
- Prepare ad-hoc analysis upon request.
Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in financial analysis and cost controls.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; SAP and HFM experience a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and detail-oriented.
- Flexibility with scheduling and ability to work longer hours during month-end close.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work autonomously.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
