SummaryThe General Manager, North America, will lead the fresh North America business with full P&L ownership. Reporting to the CCO, this role is responsible for developing the brand image across North America's wholesale, brick and mortar, fresh.com, and e-retail channels. As a strategic member of the global commercial team, the GM will lead North America teams in Sales, Education, Planning, Marketing, and Visual Merchandising to execute global business strategy while advocating for North America market needs at the global level.
Responsibilities- Develop and execute market strategy and implement channel-specific commercial, sales, and business strategies to drive profitability.
- Manage market P&L to maximize profitability and achieve financial targets.
- Collaborate with FP&A to optimize resource allocation and manage the regional budget.
- Enhance brand visibility through media relations, digital marketing, and strategic influencer partnerships.
- Identify and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive regional growth and efficiency.
- Lead the development and execution of North America marketing and brand strategies to build brand equity and increase market share.
- Cultivate strong relationships with key retail partners to expand brand presence and drive sales growth.
- Serve as a bridge between global functions and North America to ensure market alignment with global frameworks and guidelines.
- Champion people strategies to foster a high-performance culture.
- Direct business performance analysis to identify opportunities for growth and mitigate risks.
- Lead, inspire, and develop the North America team, fostering a people-first culture.
Requirements- 10+ years of experience in Sales, Business Development, and/or Marketing in Beauty, Consumer Goods, or adjacent industry.
- Proven experience driving a wholesale and retail business within the North America Market.
- Extensive knowledge of the North America beauty market and consumer trends.
- Results-driven, entrepreneurial mindset with accountability and ownership over business objectives.
- Ability to project manage and balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
