Job Description

Summary

The Global People Practices Lead at Ralph Lauren will play a crucial role in maintaining a positive and respectful workplace culture by ensuring fair and consistent treatment of all employees, vendors, and customers. This position involves working closely with the People team and managers to uphold company standards and address workplace concerns.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure a consistent and objective approach to workplace concerns such as harassment, discrimination, and retaliation.
  • Identify skill gaps and create training programs to enhance People Team and Leadership capabilities.
  • Serve as an internal consultant for the People team, providing guidance and thought partnership.
  • Implement activities related to employee relations and ensure resolution through coordination with various departments.
  • Conduct and lead complex, high-risk, and sensitive confidential investigations.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and coach to the People department and assigned departments.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues through effective investigations.
  • Develop and integrate capability building learning and talent development interventions.
  • Recommend actions to address gaps between HR initiatives and business needs.
  • Evaluate the impact of proposed changes on employees and advise stakeholders.
  • Monitor HR trends and best practices and make recommendations.
  • Analyze trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to employee management.
Requirements
  • Advanced level experience in a Business Partner Generalist role in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Experience in conflict resolution, negotiation, and mediation.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong working relationships.
  • Experience with policy creation and implementation.
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret business documents and provide solutions.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Significant experience in project management and data analytics.
  • Advanced computer skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and travel as needed.
