Head Of Finance

Summary

Senior finance leader responsible for driving financial strategy and overseeing finance and IT operations across the Americas. This matrixed role partners with regional and HQ leadership to ensure robust controls, accurate reporting, and operational excellence while supporting multiple entities and overseeing budgets, forecasts, and major IT initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure efficient operations and strong internal controls.
• Direct preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for senior management.
• Lead financial controlling, variance analysis, cost control, and profitability analysis.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, financial risk, and accounting activities including reconciliations and audits.
• Provide financial guidance and recommendations to senior leadership to support growth plans.
• Drive process improvement, automation, and optimization of accounting and controlling functions.
• Oversee IT projects, security, compliance, and integration of new technologies aligned with business strategy.
• Build and lead a high performing finance and operations team through recruitment and development.
• Coordinate with HQ functions and participate in regional strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• Master's degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant financial experience with 3 years in a leadership role.
• In depth knowledge of financial accounting principles such as IFRS and GAAP.
• Proven experience establishing internal controls, audits, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong business acumen, analytical and problem solving skills for data driven decisions.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Experience managing budgets and IT project oversight.
• Willingness to travel to other regional offices as required.
