Interim Beauty Counter Manager - SouthPark

Summary

The Beauty Counter Manager leads sales and customer experiences for an assigned brand at the store counter, combining selling and teaching to maximize sales and build customer loyalty. This interim role manages counter operations, vendor events, and both in-store and digital selling activities while ensuring a welcoming, customer-ready environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform makeup applications, skincare analyses, and personalized product recommendations.
• Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in-store and digital tools, including text and social media.
• Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions and maintain strong vendor relationships.
• Handle sales transactions, refunds, exchanges, and assist customers with Nordstrom Rewards enrollment.
• Keep the counter organized and customer-ready and collaborate with team members to create an inclusive environment.

Requirements

• Passion for beauty, trends, makeup application, and skincare with excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to connect with customers, handle concerns empathetically, and build customer loyalty in a commissioned environment.
• Strong multitasking, organization, initiative, and drive to achieve sales targets.
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends, and the physical ability to be on your feet 6-8 hours with occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
