Summary

Provide personalized beauty experiences in a luxury department setting by delivering makeup applications, skincare consultations, and digital selling to build customer relationships and drive sales. Serve as a brand ambassador, stay current on beauty trends, and maintain a welcoming and organized department.

Responsibilities

• Perform makeup applications and skincare analyses tailored to customer needs
• Recommend products and services to achieve customers beauty goals
• Set and achieve sales goals for in-store and digital selling
• Use text and social media to engage customers and build a following
• Book appointments and drive sales for beauty events and services
• Manage sales transactions including refunds and exchanges
• Maintain department organization, cleanliness, and customer readiness
• Participate in trainings from Nordstrom and brand partners to keep product knowledge current

• Passion for beauty, makeup application, and skincare
• Excellent customer service and ability to connect with customers
• Ability to handle customer concerns with empathy and respect
• Strong multitasking, organization, and follow through skills
• Drive to achieve sales goals and comfort using technology for selling
• Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
• Ability to continuously move for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
