Interior Design Consultant

Summary

Interior Design Consultant based in the Chicago Gallery providing elevated, luxury service to walk-in clientele. Collaborates with the Interior Design team to assess client needs, qualify opportunities for design services, and manage the client experience from initial contact through product delivery. Focuses on building and maintaining a strong client base while achieving fiscal goals and supporting gallery standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide a luxury retail experience through product expertise and elevated service
• Qualify and educate potential clients on interior design services
• Own all phases of the client experience from initial contact to delivery
• Grow and maintain a strong client base and ensure fiscal goals are met
• Support visual merchandising and quality standards within the gallery
• Represent the brand professionally through communication and personal appearance

Requirements

• Experience in a design firm or high-end furniture and luxury retail preferred
• Background in Art, Architecture or Interior Design and relevant experience preferred
• Strong relationship skills; highly organized, collaborative and results-oriented
• Excellent verbal and written communication; proficiency with Mac, iOS, Microsoft Office and Google Apps
• Ability to lift and mobilize items up to 25 lbs and maneuver on the gallery floor
• Licensed to drive preferred; ability to travel locally or out of state
