Internship - Industrial Planning

Summary

The Industrial Planning Intern will review day-to-day processes and existing reporting, create or enhance reporting tools, document monthly planning processes, and identify efficiencies to support departmental goals. This hybrid internship is based in the New York City office and focuses on process optimization and SOP support.

Responsibilities

• Review and optimize Industrial Planning reporting related to open orders, past due items, and shipment schedules
• Create clear, easy to use reports and tools for regular use by the team
• Learn key Industrial Planning processes and support SOP documentation
• Test and validate SOPs and propose process improvements
• Support communication of SOPs to cross functional teams
• Generate visual process presentations for key Industrial Planning workflows
• Demonstrate and reinforce workplace safety policies and procedures

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Business or Supply Chain curriculum program
• Proficient in English with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
• Proficient with MS Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Word
• MBA student preferred
