Retail Buying Intern

Summary

Internship supporting the retail buying team with reporting, stock allocation adjustments, pricing follow up, competitive analysis, and seasonal projects to gain insight into luxury fashion retail buying and corporate operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist Retail Buyers with reporting analysis
• Support corrective actions on stock allocations and transfers
• Follow up on pricing and conduct competitive studies
• Compile seasonal buy books and product recaps
• Prepare training guidelines and tools for retail stores
• Assist with weekly selling reports and analysis
• Organize and prepare seasonal product recaps
• Perform administrative support duties

Requirements

• Merchandising experience preferred
• Detail oriented and task driven
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel
• Comfortable working with numbers and recaps
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Problem solving ability
• Must be able to receive academic credit
