SummaryAs an Inventory Control Analyst, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the company's operations by supporting the Internal Control team. You will conduct inventories, review cycle counts, audit upcycling projects, and report KPIs to senior management.
Responsibilities- Work with the Inventory Control team to resolve inventory issues and support retail stores and the distribution center.
- Assist in reviewing and overseeing inventory and cycle count reconciliations for stores and the distribution center.
- Travel to stores and the distribution center to conduct physical inventories, cycle count reviews, and inventory training, with approximately 50% travel during the year.
- Analyze retail and wholesale special movements monthly and prepare analysis for Finance and Accounting teams for month-end reporting.
- Audit items for upcycling and recycling projects at the distribution center.
- Update inventory costs in Cegid for cycle counts and inventories, with restricted access for permanent employees.
- Compile data and reports for external auditors on a quarterly and annual basis.
Requirements- 3-5 years of experience in an inventory control role.
- 3+ years of retail experience is preferable.
- Experience in the retail luxury industry is a plus.
- Flexibility with tasks and scheduling.
- Experience in inventory control functions.
- Curious, proactive, and strong communication skills.
- Strong ethics and ability to analyze information effectively.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask with accuracy and follow written and verbal directives.
- Intermediate Excel skills and experience with technology to utilize internal systems and WMS.
