Inventory Control Specialist - Aspen

Summary

The Inventory Control Specialist manages store inventory and supports receiving, ticketing, shipping and aftersales processing to maintain accurate stock records. This role works with store management and operations to conduct cycle counts and bi-annual inventories and to maintain supplies and inventory strategies in a luxury retail boutique.

Responsibilities

• Receive packages and process merchandise into store inventory the same day
• Print and ticket merchandise and update pricing
• Generate packing and shipping transfers and return to vendor shipments accurately
• Process and record aftersales service and check in returns
• Organize and participate in weekly cycle counts and bi-annual inventories
• Maintain records and filing systems related to receiving and shipping
• Manage inventory for damaged items and track related adjustments
• Order and maintain shipping selling supplies and store supplies

Requirements

• 2+ years of operations experience; luxury retail experience preferred
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task with accuracy
• Ability to analyze information and problem-solve
• Familiarity with inventory control and asset protection practices
• Experience using internal systems and external shipping software
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs without assistance
